Hi all I really need your help please. I had 2 birds out and they are,Chika and Olivia out. Olivia kept flying to Chika, like she want to attack her. I never seen a parakeet act like that. I had Chika on my shoulder, and Olivia kept fly down to attack her. Then I had a hard time getting Olivia back in her cage. She kept on biting the stick and my finger. What do I do. I do not want Olivia to attack anyone. Here photos of them together. I need help. I had 3 parakeets, and none of them act like this. I might have take them out one at a time. I even might have to ask the breeder to clip Olivia wings. I have to finish training her. Please answer my question. Chika is a sweet heart.

Will taking them out at different times solve the problem?

I think you should keep them separate, and clip Olivia if necessary in order to do that.
You cannot stop the Olivia from doing this, except by separating them. It may be dangerous for Olivia if she provokes Chika. Chika has a very big beak.
Not all birds will get along, however much we may want them to.

And its easy for me. That way I do not hurt my ankles.

Sounds like Olivia is jealous, is there a way to take her into another room while training her?

Sounds like Olivia is jealous, is there a way to take her into another room while training her? I been trying to get her in the other room, but she fly away and lands on Meka cage. Then she goes and bite me. When I do have her in the other room she, will not stay still. She will fly on a shelf and start to chirp at the other birds, while the door is close. I can not bring her down stairs, because of a big bird down there,a dog and a cat. Also someone said she is stared maturing. Attacking other birds is her way of claiming her territory. Males are easier going. They usually will not become aggressive,The best thing to do is not give her a chance to chase or attack the other birds. Things like that become habit once learned.

Does it scare Chicka when Olivia lands on her cage and acts mean? I would definitely not get them out of their cages at the same time. My only other suggestion would be to give Olivia lots of attention and speak to her very kindly. Maybe she won't feel so jealous of Chicka if she understands how loved she is.

I do give Olivia.lots of attention. I take her out every day. Olivia can not land on chika cage because, Olivia cage is right on top. When Olivia lands on Meka cage seem fine. But still Olivia should not land on other birds cage. I am going to have her wings clip.
