She did great for her first night. She is still scared and nerves. Her wings are clip,I ask petsmart people to clip them. They took there time and did a wonderful job. Wants she is all used to her new home,I will start to train her. Q she bits when I pick her up right a way. How do I stop the biting?   |

To stop the biting: You need to give her more time to get used to you and her new home before trying to pick her up. I think you should give her a week, and just sit by her cage and talk to her. You could also hold up some spray millet to the bars and she could eat it through the bars.
I know it's hard--we really want to hold them right away! But, they're in a totally new environment. She's biting because she's scared.

She is really pretty!! Give her some time to figure out who you are and where she is. Then, get going with making friends! Every bird is very different in how quickly they adjust, as long as she knows you won't hurt her you'll do great! I'm excited to hear how things go :-)

you guys are the best thank you so much for helping me with my new bird. she's doing really well she did something really silly she was hanging upside down,on the top part inside her cage. she is really really really silly. I can't wait to get videos of her.
