I have a huge Prevue Hendryx XL F050 flight cage. It does take up a lot of room, and it's a BIG job to clean it, but it's wonderful! There's tons of room, and Kringle & Clausy adore it. I keep the two big doors wide open all day, and they stay inside a lot, but also creep up to the top and play around up there, and then take periodic flights around our open living room/dining/kitchen areas. Since my parents left this morning, the boys have been more animated than usual and have flown their rounds of the room multiple times.

Oh, how nice they are flying around the room. I look forward to that, some day,

This cage is just fine, but it may become a little tight for flighted birds. Still, if you let them out every day for a long time to let them exercise, it should be fine

I have a cage that looks the same as the finch flight cage. It just has a different brand name here in New Zealand, but im sure its the same! I have my young budgies in it at the moment as i have them for sale

OK I have come to the realization that my Living room area is their cage and their cage is just their bed room. LOL because when I am home they are out and only venture to their cage to eat and drink then its back out to their entertainment stand perch or with me on the couch. the rest of the time they are either chasing toys or one another on the entire floor area. For budgies with an open cage life does this count as a second cage being big enough for morning 1 2 hours exercise and ALL day when Im off LOL.

My bird is ready to come home this weekend so now I need to make a quick decision.
