Last night I took tiny and tinsel out and set them in the nesting box by me. Tinsel thought it would be funny to stand on tiny. Tiny did not approve

Chace, I didn't see any post from you about getting Tinsel, what she looks like, or anything! I wonder if it didn't post?
Tinsel must be a baby. You should put that nesting box away somewhere for a whole year. Please, please don't offer it to them. I know you will be eager for babies now that you have a pair, and it's very exciting. I get that! But it would be so very bad for Tinsel's little body to produce eggs and have to care for babies when she is still a child herself. Please do everything you can to discourage mating until next year at this time. No nest box or snuggly tent, a healthy low fat diet with lots of veggies, and good, long nighttime hours with the cage covered for 12 hours every night.
I am super excited about Tinsel! I love her name, and can't wait until you post her picture for all of us to see! So where's the picture? Huh? Where's the picture??

Also you said she was an English Budgie, not sure it is a good idea to mate an American and English Budgie.

I thought you said you had them hanging out beside you in a nesting box. So, what's she look like? What colors? I love how cool it is that Tiny & Tinsel's names go together so well. You did a good job picking her name.

Yea but they don't have full access to it. She is sky blue and white I first noticed her when she was jumping around like a kangaroo the whole time we were at the pet store

Blue & white budgies are so beautiful. So does she let you hold her already?

Do you have any idea about what that weird cere could be

Well, we would need to see a picture of Tinsel to understand what you mean about her having a weird cere. Try to get some good, clear close ups of her face for us. Can't wait to see her!
But one thing I can tell you even without a picture is that if Tinsel's cere is a smooth, even color all over, all the same pinky-purplish color, it's probably a boy. If the cere is not the same color all over, but seems more blotchy with different colors, then you probably have yourself a little girl. Get us those pictures so we can tell you for sure, okay?

Then she's likely a girl, but again, we cannot tell you for sure without a picture.
