I have had tiny for a month now he is 4-5 months old I haven't been working very hard to train him yet and I got him from a normal pet store is it still possible to tame him and have a good birdy relationship. With other budgies I have had in the past i have never tamed one and tiny is relly special to me.

Yes, it's very possible! You will have to probably work extra hard since you are only there part-time, but I'm sure it can be done. Is your mom willing to play with Tiny when you can't be there?

What is your schedule like, in terms of what days you spend with your mom? I am divorced, and my daughter was shared custody. Many people said it would be hard for her. I think it was in some ways:-[.
She had two budgies that lived with us that became sort of tame. It is much easier to tame one budgie than two.
Is Tiny kept in your room when you are at your dad's, or out where she can see your mom? Having her out where she can see your mom when you are not there might make it easier to tame her, as she would be used to havig people around more of the time. The main thing is regular interaction, patience, and treats (like millet). Also, not doing anything that would scare the budgie--like grabbing her.

PS Budgieboy--I am trying to tame Emma, my Cockatiel. Perhaps we can share how it's going. I don't know whether you are looking at my posts about Emma, but it is a slow process. I'm trying not to rush her, but I really want her to be more friendly.

It's good that you thought to put the TV on for her. I'm sure she enjoys it.
