I won't be able to put pictures up till tomorrow but Bubbles now does step up, ladder, and sits on my hubby's shoulder! Aside from being a bit trigger-happy still and flying off the coop, he is doing exceptionally well! I give all credit to Pepper for being an amazing instructor in that I'm not going to harm Bubbles by picking him up or interacting with him Once Bubbles is fully tamed, I'll be placing him back into the cage with Whisper and seeing if he can get her to come around too!

Thank you! It's so out of the blue as well! I just looked over and saw Jarod playing ladder with Bubbles, and then later Bubbles was just chilling on his shoulder! I was freaking out too and trying to grab my camera haha. Have you thought about putting one budgie with Lucy once quarantine is over? I'm not sure what the bar spacing is on Lucy's cage, but it should be able to contain a budgie and a cockatiel

Are you noticing any difference in Whisper's level of tameness, with her observing Pepper and Bubbles?

When she's in her cage, she is deathly afraid of my hand, but when she's out and about with Bubbles and Pepper, she lets me get very close, sometimes stroke her side and tummy, and when she needs a lift---she lets me be her elevator kind of like you and Kringle in the beginning haha. Bubbles doesn't run away as much when he is outside of the cage, but he still only comes out on his own terms which is fine by me.

Emily Kylie is just like that when she wants out she will let me bring her out on my finger but when she's feeling Divaish she pushes n bites my finger n runs away. Kyba us like this it even when he doesn't want out or has an attitude with me he does the exact same thing. But he just usually looks at my finger at me my finger at me n tilts his head from side to side then walks away or turns his back at me it's cute n I know after a few minutes he usually vines RUNning out to me straight to mt shoulder.

Awwww. Unfortunately Whisper doesn't let me bring her out of her cage, but once she's out on her own and if she flies to the floor, she lets me be her elevator to the top of the cage haha. I'm SO hoping Bubbles learns to talk like Kyba! He has done the wolf whistle a couple times and sometimes he makes some weird noises so I REALLY hope so!

Mango is finger trained and she lets me bring her out of the cage and all! She will sit on my finger or shoulder but heaven forbid I should try to touch her or scratch her little head! She immediately starts looking around the room bobbing her head looking for a place to fly to! I had a small breakthrough last night. At bedtime I was telling her goodnight. Before I covered her cage I reached my hand in and she let me give her a head scratch for about 30 seconds before she let me know that that was enough HaHa!She seemed to enjoy it! I guess she felt more secure in letting me do this because she was inside her cage! Maybe someday she will let me scratch her outside the cage! Thats my goal anyways!
