That's so interesting, Santa. I really didn't know that. Most don't know that, but it is true. You would be very surprised by the number of teens in knee braces from football.

I believe you to some extent. I severely damaged a knee playing soccer - I was lucky that it could be healed but it took me right out of contact sports for the rest of my time in high school. I just can't imagine the impact boxers must suffer to their brains - I mean, getting punched in the face is not my idea of a fun time.

I trained in Martial Arts and was a full contact fighter for a time. There is impact but a lot less then football.

Oh boy. Knee problems. I wanna add mine into this. Horseback riding accident in '06. To date there has been some 100-odd surgeries trying to fix things up from it.

When I was growing up I loved horses and desperately wanted to take riding lessons. One of my classmates did. My parents said "no," because my aunt had injured her back riding. I did ride a bit in my twenties (western), and loved it.

Oh, I loved western. I had a beautiful paint named Apache who did Barrel Racing and Pole Bending with me a bit. He was in the accident with me and ended up having to be put down.

Oh, I'm so sorry, Bree. When I was riding I used to ride a strawberry roan named Jonathan. I loved him. I rode at a stable in the Catskill Mountains. The owners would gather up a few people and then one of them would take us on a trail ride. That was on the weekend, and there were always enough people coming to make up a group. The nice things was, it really made the horses want to go.

Haha! I'm sure sometimes that Apache would just sigh and think "Why me?" when I'd come to see him to ride. He was a brat!

Oh my, that sounds just awful. I used to ride also, English show jumping. I had a horse fall on me, but thankfully it was so muddy where the horse slipped that the mud protected us and neither of us was hurt. Scariest experience of my life though, I will tell you that!

Oh I'm jealous! I tried jumping and Apache bucked me off the few times I asked him to jump.
