Me too, Diana. I am the oldest of 4, but feel more like the oldest of 3 because my youngest brother is nearly 19 years younger than am, and I was more like a second mama than a sister to him when he was a child.
I made the cardinal mistake of marrying a fellow firstborn. Seems to be working out for us about 99% of the time, but ooh, when we power struggle, we REALLY power struggle. Birth order stuff is tremendously interesting to me.

Well, I am the baby by a landslide - my siblings are 16, 14 and 12 years older than me

That's how it is with my baby brother, Bennie, er I mean Ben. When he was born, I was going on 19, Jon was 17, and Chris was 14. I repeated history, although not quite so drastically, having Natey when Rachel was 14, Theresa was 13, Jared was going on 12 and Bridget was 10. It's super fun having a little one In the house again.

I was a first born marrying a first born. It didn't work out that well.

Diana, we've certainly had to work at it at times, but ours really was a match made in heaven. I know I have the right man for me, birth order notwithstanding.
