I love goldies! They are such friendly fish. Someday I would like to have another tank even bigger than the one I have now, for my community, and then make my 55-gallon into a goldfish tank.
In my community tank, I have rainbow sharks (not really sharks), pink kissers, angels, clown loaches, corycats, two plecos and 3 kinds of tetras. They are all very beautiful, and I feel grateful to have such lovely creatures in my care. Every night, after my kids are all in bed, I sit by my fish tank and watch my fish swimming. It's very relaxing and peaceful. A great way to de-stress at the end of the day.

Emily, Love your bunny, she's lovely! I had a bun-bun several years ago named Scarlett. Similar situation, I adopted her from a guy at work who had got Scarlett for his daughter, but poor bun was largely neglected and stuck in her cage. She too had super long nails. When I got her home, it took her almost a week to feel safe enough to come out of her cage. She became super friendly (I'd lay on the floor next to her & she'd lick my nose!), litter box trained, and loved my cats. My cat Blossum would snuggle with her, my other cat Sinjin just avoided her. She broke my heart when she died, and I haven't been able to get another bun since

Oh I'm sorry for your loss! Scarlet must have been an amazing bunny. I don't think I'll ever get another bunny when Moomoo passes away, but I guess I don't even want to think about that haha. Moomoo runs in a straight line if you put your fave near the ground and just huddles as close as possible. If we pat on the couch she jumps up now and gets lost in a blanket we have for her. Seriously never would have thought she would be so outgoing haha. I wanted to rescue her from the life she had, but didn't have any expectations.

Pammy, my dad's tank used to have kissing, blue, and gold goramis, but now he mostly has albino corycats, gold barbs, 1 rosy barb and one sunset gourami (the last 2 I bought him)

So he and I have two of the same kinds of fish - pink kissers and albino corys. I've had rosy barbs in the past. They're so pretty and reproduce easily.

no kissers anymore for him his is boring now with about 5 corys and the 2 fish I bought him and maybe 2 others. There's not much movement except the Rosy barb. His tank is 4x the size of mine and I have more fish than he does (I think) I guess his interests are in other areas now

Well, our interests do tend to shift, and it's good that he isn't replacing fish as they die off if he's not really all that into them right now. Maybe he'll give you his larger tank!
