Thanks, Gillian. It's been fun giving them Christmasy names.

How's the amazing new banner coming, Emily? I just posted a really adorable new picture of Clausy, if it's not too late....

By the way, anyone have any specific colors they want to see in the forum banner?

Lots of bright, beautiful colors - any colors that can be found on small parrots.

Woo! I was just laughing at Pepper earlier because she has all these silly dark pins poking out on top of her head. She is a little grumpster again so I'm hoping to get her into the shower tomorrow morning. I've been a bit busy and I really want to put enough time for a nice banner, so I'll give those who haven't posted pictures of their birds yet more time.

Sarah, they are all sooooooo wonderfully beautiful, and I personally think a molting budgie couldn't possibly be anymore adorable! Funny thing. I didn't think I cared for the olive colored budgies until I just now saw that picture of Gizmo. What a doll! And Pirate!! He's perfect, that's all. Just perfect. Looking at his picture is making me waver slightly on my stance of wanting a girl cockatiel and only a girl cockatiel. But the question is, can I name a boy Mistletoe??
Really, though, the name is not my reason. I just keep hearing that SOME boys are very sweet and cuddly, but almost ALL girls are. I want sweet and cuddly over any other trait.

Lol Personally I think that Mistletoe would be a perfectly fine name for a male. I love male cockatiels - obviously And because I am so biased, I may not be the best person to ask. Yes, it is true that Pirate is not cuddly 100% of the time - but he is cuddly every day for at least an hour every evening. But, he is also playful, inquisitive, talkative and he whistles surprisingly complicated and pretty little songs of his own composing. I would bring home whichever bird you connect with best on a personal level, reguardless of gender. That's what happened with me and Pirate. I didn't know what he was until he reached 'puberty.'

Well, so much for that! No picture, just a link. I don't know what I am doing wrong.
