That happened with my grandpa's red hair. It was red when he was a child and when he became a young man, it began changing to brown. Of course I only ever saw his hair as gray. Mine has stayed red throughout my life. My mom still has her brown hair (without dying it) and she's 65, and it's looking as though I am equally fortunate on that one. My hair is still completely red, with only a rare, occasional silver sneaking in there. So far, I've plucked the offenders when I spot one, but I think I'll stop doing that one of these days.... But back to more important matters! How's your weekend going with your cutie-patootie itty-bitty baby nephew???

I'm so jealous of you! I want to keep my red hair! (Hence why I dye it) As for the silver hairs, I have a hilarious story I heard about that: A little girl was watching her mom make dinner and asked why she has gray hair. The mom saw it as a teaching moment and said 'Well, every time you make me mad, sad, or if you make me cry, one of my hairs turns gray." The little girl thought about that for a minute and then said "Mommy, why is ALL of grandma's hair gray?" (Bahaha) But yes, back to the more important stuff. I'm having the time of my life with my nephew. He's so funny. He was slightly preemie, so he sleeps a ton and doesn't eat much. Well, his parents tried getting him to eat a few times and he only ate a little before falling back to sleep. So they were like 'ok, well, we'll try again in a while' and both went to take a nap while I took the baby. Well, about an hour later, the baby woke up starving to death, so they went and fed him an entire bottle, and he fell back to sleep. (This is the first time he'd eaten an entire bottle) About an hour later (before yesterday, he had been eating only every 7 hours or so), he woke up starving again. His dad was like 'seriously?' and so he took him and fed him again. He ate an entire bottle again before he fell back to sleep. About an hour later, he was hungry again. We were like 'dude, he just ate more food in the last 3 hours than he has his entire life.' Once it started getting dark, he woke up and started talking to us a bit. He has the BEST smile (everyone else says it's gas, but I want to think otherwise, haha) And since I have to be the best aunt ever, more pictures! He looks like a flamenco dancer in this one. Another one with Aunt Bree.
