How long does it take a new Bird to accept a pellet diet. I know I just started but wanted to feel sometime frame. I have them mixed with seeds, but she is just looking for the seeds

Honestly it depends on the bird itself. Pepper started eating her pellets right away, where as Whisper barely touches them still. Just be persistent

it took mine a few weeks to figure that it was something they could eat

I don't know whether this was right or wrong, but I switched mine cold turkey, and lucky for me, they dug right in and loved the pellets. I keep veggies in the cage all day for them, and have seeds sprinkled in their play gym on top of the cage. They both literally come running when I put the pellets in the cage mid evening everyday. I use Roudybush crumbles.

Just steadily reduce the ratio of seeds to pellets. So start at half, then after two days a tablespoon less and so on until she tries the pellets when she has eaten all the seeds and is not satisfied. She probably won't realize that they taste good until she really gives them a shot.
