I've researched a lot on how to train yout budgie to fly to you, but, everyone has different ways. Have any of you tried to do this? If so, can you please help me? My budgie has been flying all over recently and I'd like to train him to fly to me. It's also been difficult to get him back into his home, even though we leave the door open. Thank you in advance!

I kind of trained one of mine, he flies to me only a short distance. I get millet and show him very close to the cage and say come or his name and just naturally keep moving backwards. Just keep doing this throughout the day

We sometimes have trouble getting our birds to go to bed as well. We have discovered that they can sometimes be convinced if you show them some millet, and put a bit in the back of the cage. They will get very curious and climb in, you just have to be ready to latch the door when they do :-)
