I read that one can use water 2 inches deep for a cockatiel bath.
Today I got out a pyrex loaf pan and filled it with 2" of water and put it on top of the cage. I also put a couple of sprigs of parsley in it.
All three birds took baths. Emma must have been in the water for about 5 minutes, dunking her head and opening her wings. At one point, both she and Silver were in the loaf pan together. It was pretty crowded!
In the past I think I've given them shallower water. It seems they were very excited by today's arrangement.

Very cool. Do you know how much for budgies? I was thinking of doing that because tweetles is afraid of their water bowl for bath time lol

Piper went into the bath. I think it may have been a little deep for him, because he only went in once.

It went up o the bottom of his wings. I believe he kind of floated in it. I put the bath up again yesterday. Piper was in and out of it at least half a dozen times. The other two enjoyed it too.

Heh, that is awesome, I haven't seen Tweets or Sonny take a bath in awhile. I do spritz them a few times a month.
