I am curious on what to use for the heating and cooling for the aviary, I was thinking some type of heating lamp but not sure about the cooling.

I wouldn't use a heating lamp. All the websites I've been reading recommend an electrical fluid type radiator, one that uses a permanently sealed fluid and won't start fires and have auto shut off if the heater turns over.
As for cooling, a window type air conditioner, or just a big bird bath would be ok I think.
