I noticed that Tweetles likes to bully a lot, so I decided to put her with Tweets again. Everything is going well. Tweets is behaving himself. Hopefully the ladies will give Sonny a chance after they get to know him, if it last awhile. I kind of got sad because Tweetles usually feeds Dakota after I give them seeds and she was trying to through the bars  . I felt bad. I might put Sonny with them but am still unsure because three seems like a lot in the finch flight cages. I am wondering about the noise too, hopefully it will reduce a bit with this arrangement. |

Right now, are Tweets and Tweeties in the finch flight cage and the other four in the bigger cage?
I guess Dakota and Tweeties were buddies?
Who was with Tweets before?

Well, that plan didn't last long, Tweets was on top of TWeetles fighting with her this morning. Tweets was with Tweetles in the finch cage. Sonny, Teeki, Dakota and Luna were in the big cage.
Now I have Tweets with Sonny, which I had originally.

Are you sure Tweets was fighting? Could he have been trying to mate with Tweeties?

Oh, believe me, he was fighting with her to get her away from Luna and him macking on each other. There were a few feathers floating around. Tweetles does not want to be mounted at all. Just the way Tweets was acting, he grabbed her and pulled her to the ground, repeatingly jumping on her to keep her down, I had to grab him just to get him off, he bit me pretty good.

Yea, he is when it comes between him and Luna. I was hoping he would behave but apparently not.
