You may remember that Emma (female cockatiel) and Piper (male budgie) have been bonded for some time. Piper mates with her. Despite long nights, it happens at least twice a day. Sometimes she gets fed up with his attentions. With that introduction, here is where she's going when she's had enough of Piper:

How funny! What does Piper do when Emma escapes to the highest spot?

Yeah, does Piper ever follow Emma up there?
By the way, all of your bird toys look remarkably clean, Diana. You do a really excellent job keep after your birds' belongings.

Piper doesn't go there. He appears to no have worked out how to get there. Instead, he paces back forth on top of the cage and calls to her. Then, he flies by the boing and back to the cage and repeats the process.
I've always felt that Piper is not the brightest bulb in the drawer LOL.

I'm glad Piper can't figure out how to get up there on the boing. It's good for Emma that she has a place she can go when she's had it with Piper's affections.
