Anyone else use this for their budgies or other types of parrots? I got one a few days ago for Inca and I notice a big difference. There is no adequate sunlight here in Virginia

I have one too--a featherbrite. I have it above the flight cage. So, the cockatiels are currently getting the most benefit from it. I have to figure something out for the budgies. I have read that even if you have sun, if it is coming through glass it doesn't do them that much good.

During the summer I would take his cage out into the back in some shade and let him stay there for a few house while keeping a very close eye on him
