Pammy had her parents over, I broke my eyeball, you're seeing your parents - everyone's got some time away from the forum and I don't think anyone is taking it personally Have fun!!

'Tis your busy season, Santa! Making a list, and checking it twice, supervising all those elves, making sure the reindeer are in tiptop condition.... Whew! I don't know how you do it all!!

Pammy, today's a bad day so far.. yesterday I was feeling a little better but not anymore. I'm going back to the eye doctor in about an hour so hopefully she'll tell me if I'm doing okay or if she needs to give me new meds. Luckily I had no school or work today, but tomorrow I go back to the routine

I'm glad you are going back to the doctor. Please let us know afterwards what she said.

The pain I was feeling was because one of my eyelashes was backwards and kept hitting the abrasion. She took it out (ouch) but now it feels much better and she said it's healing nicely.
Just got out of the office!

That's good news, Lisa! Emily, your visit must be going well. I'll bet Grandma is oohing and aahing all over Miss Sophia. Who's home with the birdies?

Yes her grammy is definitely super excited and she saw her grandpa today! I bought seed and water feeders that will last till we get home Wednesday afternoon but we left them at my in laws. I'm a tad scared and I've called her because she used to have a love bird and she thinks it's hilarious that he was addicted to sugar and cigarettes. I told her these are MY birds and if she doesn't respect MY rules, we really will have more problems than we already do. I had travel cages all ready but my mom doesn't favor birds so I've provided enough seed and water for the couple days we are gone, have looped bird sounds on a boombox and put the cages side by side in an area that is lighted but provides shade and gets plenty of heat. I feel like I put my babies with a bomb but my husband assures me she won't murder my birds... Off my rant, we are definitely having fun but I miss my bed already!

Haha Emily that sounds awfully nerve racking xD Well best wishes for your feather babies. I'm sure they'll do just fine since it's only for a couple of days.

I'm probably over analyzing everything but I honestly will go nuts if something happens to them!

Yes, I would worry, too. Your MIL isn't an indoor smoker, is she? Sorry - I should be helping put your mind at ease and not making it worse!
Yeah, visiting is fun, but nothing beats the bed at home. Home sweet home.
