for those owners with hand tamed budgies does anyone have one particular budgie that when he/she see's you come around the cage or into the aviary said budgie almost immediately comes over to you. Also, do you have a female<S> that tend to me a lot pushy towards your male<S> when you come around because she knows he will be wanting you to pick him up for a little bit.
reason I'm asking is both Kyba and Kylie are both hand tamed by me. though Kyba did help me in taming her, and since I do NOT want to breed, thankfully neither has bonded towards the other for mating. I think that's due to the fact that mid last year I saw Kyba jump on her back she shook him off and bite him, but the lil turd didn't get the message and tried again and again she bite him even harder. Now when she wants his attention, and his attention is some where else she will nip him and chase him usually to me. Anyways when ever I uncover the cage in morning he's clinging to the cage and makes a bee line for the door on to me though not before she is chasing him around. I do offer my finger to her but 9 times out of 10 she will nip push and step away if she's in the cage. if she's out no problem stepping up, unless she see's Kyba running from me and she thinks its a game too. Each morning and or evening when I open the cage Kyba will either come running out or let me bring him out. I was just wondering out of the owners with tamed budgies do you have one or 2 in particular that's either your favorite to handle or is more willing and trusting.

Of my two male budgies, Piper is the most friendly. The situation is not, however, anything like yours--Piper does not want to escape the cage because of Snowy. They do squabble if I am giving out treats. I try to keep them separate while I am giving out treats. But, if they do manage to get close together, each will try to shove the other away.

That's cute Dian when I put millet in the 2 containers with one on opposite sides of the cage Kylie will get mouth full run to the one with Kyba n eat there he lets her have her full Ghent he goes in for his it's like this every time. Mine do not squabble either but she does tease the heck out if him n bite him for ignoring him which why he runs from her so much lol

Kennyt my 10 month old female Jabo takes some coaxing to get her out of the cage. Just like Kylie 9 times out of 10 its fly away, cling to perch tightly or nip my finger. My 5 month male Colbat will not be waiting on the cage since I've had him only for a month now. He is trained but just like your two if mine see one running away or flying away they other follows suit.
