Hi everyone! Today I was trying to take a nap (finally!) after the madness that was my last day of school of this semester but I was woken up by my babies, I went to their cage to see what was going on because it sounded like they were fighting, only to find Poki wildly chasing Leelo, the funny thing was that he kept doing this sound like I don't know, a very cute singing, loud but cute, and Leelo was screaming running away from him!, I stayed there for a while and saw Poki trying to get on top of her twice, but Leelo of course kept screaming and biting him, I don't know if that's normal, I thought budgies only tried to mate when they were both in condition, Leelo still has her cere in a very light blue tone so, I'm sure she isn't giving him any hint or a reason to get all excited lol.

Hmm. Well, she obviously doesn't wish to breed - in or out of condition. If you aren't trying to get your birds to breed right now, make sure they are covered about fourteen hours over night, and keep the diet low in protein.

It sounds like his hormones are raging and hers aren't. You probably want to try to calm his down. You could try giving them longer nights and rearranging everything in their cage.
