and no Pammy it's not that mike has proposed..... sorry he hasn't yet....
SO i have been struggling with weight problems my entire life. I have always been pudgy/ over weight even with extreme dieting. Over the summer i insisted my thyroid be checked and after many arguments and angry calls, I got the blood test that told me my thyroid was barley holding on.
Now after two months of just calorie counting alone I am proud to announce that as of this morning i have lost over 20 pounds and am one fifth through my goal of losing 100 pound and getting to 150 and hopefully a healthier life style

Congrats! I am also trying to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight of 153. I put on waaaaaay too much weight and jumped up 4-5 pant sizes . Reading your success has helped remind me what I'm working towards!

Reading your success has helped remind me what I'm working towards! this sounds cheesy but something i've found that helps is Using Myfitnesspal..... it reminds me im not alone in this struggle But thank you all!...still hopeing I can lose 10 more before Christmas so the day after shopping doesn't feel like a drag...... but i wont press my luck

10 pounds in three weeks is daunting, and not really that healthy, Jasmine. Better to shoot for 1 or 2 pounds a week, slow and steady. You're doing great!!
