When I feed Lucky I give her 2 portions of pellets to 1 portion of seed. I then let the pellets be on top of seeds. Lucky now goes under the feed cup and bounces it up and down to get the seeds on top. How would a less then 3 month old even know that.  |

I think it's wonderful how we all think our feathered babies are the prettiest, the smartest and the best - just like parents with our human kids. Just goes to show how much we loooove these dear little birdies, and how blessed both they and we are to have found one another. |

I have always been told the female budgies are bossy and moody and such and Mango is no different but some of the things she does is just so darn cute. Yesterday i was filling her food dish and i put it back in her cage by her perch where it ALWAYS goes and Mango decided she did not want it there. The dish can slide easily down the side of the cage so she took her beak and slid it away from her. I thought that was cute so i slid it back toward her and she did it again and then looked at me! I couldnt resist so i moved it a 3rd time just to see what she would do and she immediately moved it back to where she wanted it! Hahahaha! Too funny!
