Well today I am giving Lucky carrots and strawberries and I am not putting any seeds in the bowl. I feel like a parent telling my Child to sit at the table untill they finish their vegetables lol. Btw she is eating a little of them. At 4 she will get 2 part pellets and 1 part seed

I remember sitting at the table with a cold plate of peas when I was a child.

I remember sitting at the table with a cold plate of peas when I was a child. I think we all remember something like that. I was lucky in that I love all food.

For me, it was a cold plate of beets with that thick, gelatinous Harvard stuff smothered over them. I could puke now, just remembering. It didn't work. I still hate beets.

Ewwwwwwwwwwwie!!! Peas were the WORST. Ten years later I took a test in biology class that showed I have a 'supertaster' gene that makes all dark green and some regular green vegetables taste like a toxic waste dump. I knew nobody could possibly enjoy the flavor I was tasting as a kid

I'm sorry Sarah, I totally just laughed out loud at that. Where do I get this test?! I need some proof that says certain foods are awful to me...

Ha, you can get test strips of paper that you place on your tongue. They either taste like nothing or like the foulest thing you've ever tasted - that's how you tell if the test is positive or not

Sarah, you really dislike all green veggies? Even salad? Even green beans??

Lettuce is safe. It tastes nice to me. Some other greens are okay, like edamame (that's a Japanese preparation of young soy beans.) Spinach, celery, cucumber, squash, artichoke and most other other leafy things are okay. Green beans, peas, broccoli, asparagus and so on taste like a chemical plant or a bucket of latex paint.

Not a green or even a bean, but most kids hate them and I love them Lima beans. I can eat just a bowl or two for dinner yum. My Dad loved them and I think I ate them because he did and now I love them

I like cooked fresh or frozen peas, and I love sugar snap peas straight from the garden all raw and crunchy, but I HATE smooshy, icky olive-drab peas from a can. UGH!! And Santa, LIMA BEANS?? Really?? Horrible. Just horrible.
