I believe a vet call is in order but I cannot drive because of my eye surgery on dec 5th. he is acting like luna when she had a minor crop infection. is there a natural remedy or should i take him to the vet?

You can try to let him fight off the infection himself for the first few days. Preventing vet trips is a good thing: although I am all for them when they are necessary, but they only increase stress and expose the bird to more infections if you don't absolutely NEED to go.
First, separate Sonny to his own cage for the next few days. Use some sort of heater (safely) to keep him a good five degrees warmer than normal. A heating pad or heating blanket is preferred. Second, put him on a simple diet. No veggies. This might sound counter intuitive, but veggies are more difficult to digest: you know how we have to stick to things like toast when we aren't feeling good. Add pedialite or apple vinegar to the water you give him, and change it every day.
Good luck!

I'm sure your family doesn't mind helping you out with rides while your eye recovers from surgery, Luvs. Do you feel yourself healing?

I havent had good sleep for the past 4 nights, drove up to MO for a funeral. i believe this is what is preventing me to heal a bit more. i did noticed that since then i think my vision got worse. so idk. its suppose to fluctuate 3-4 weeks after surgery, tomorrow will be my 2nd.

Since the doctor said it's supposed to fluctuate, maybe you are right on schedule. When do you have another followup?

How's he acting? Eating? Does he look beautiful and healthy, or kinda sickly? Is he puffy and still, or happy and playing like normal? Does he sing and chatter like usual?
I hope your eyes are much better by now, Luvs.
