K, so Shasta had his wings clipped, but he had both long feathers on his wings (I don't know what they're called). I recently noticed he's missing the one side. Is this a bad thing?

that is his flight feathers. nope, it is normal because they molt them to get new ones I would suggest on taking away the mirror because it is unhealthy for the bird and will give you a better bond

He doesn't get his mirror very often. Only when he's been really good. And when I need to get stuff done but don't want him to have to sit in his cage any longer than he already has to.
Good to know about the feathers. I noticed it, and worried about if he'd just torn it out or what. I couldn't find the feather, so I have no idea where he lost it.

You know, he really doesn't like either of those. I tried both, and he got out of the spray and wouldn't touch the bath. I haven't figured out another way to make him at least try it. He doesn't even like sitting in the shower steam.
