Hi there all its been a while since I have posted. Two of my female budgies fought yesterday morning and one of them got hurt she is recovering now. I removed her and her mate from my flight cage and put them in a cage inside the house.
She was getting a nest ready to breed. My question is will she still breed now or not.

You should not breed her now, no. Her body will have to heal and recover before she is ready to sacrifice the kind of energy and material she has to put in to her eggs. You should not encourage her to breed in a weakened state.
Also, attacks like this are sadly common in a colony breeding situation- that is a breeding situation where there are more birds than just the mated pair alone in a breeding cage. In the wild, fights over mates and nesting space are common and perfectly natural, but the loser has somewhere to run to before the fight becomes too serious. In captivity, you would need a half an acre large aviary to allow for that to happen. It doesn't matter how big your cage or flight is - please always separate breeding couples into their own private cage. I have had users lose multiple adult birds and entire clutches of chicks to violence like this because they did not know any better than to breed them in a colony.

Thank you very much. Her cere got nipped.I was thankfully in front of the cage so I could stop the fight fairly quick.

If it is a very minor injury like it sounds, then you should feed her a protein and fat rich diet, and then you could have a shot at breeding her in about a month.

I gave them eggfood and fruit but they aren't interested in that they only want to eat budgie seed and sunflower seed

Have you tried giving them their food in a blend or mash instead of separately?

Yes I give it all mixed together. Then they take out the eggs and fruit and drop it on the floor

That depends. At best I can tell you that it will take her two days to form the egg in her body before laying, and that the male will have to have been mating with her for some time to trigger her body to lay. If she is really hunkering down in the nest for longer periods of time, I would guess it could be any day now. If she is only going in to rearrange the bedding and then leaving again... it might be a week or two more.
