Piper and Snowy

While I have been obsessing over Emma, my budgies have been quietly becoming more laid back and tame. I can now easily get them on my finger to return them to their cage. They also have been trying out their regrown wings. This afternoon, Piper and Emma took flight at the same time and circled the entire living room a couple of times. I think that's the first time for Piper. When he got back on the cage he screeched several times "Hey, look at me! Look what I can do! Man, that's fun!"

I think Piper has taken a bit of a shine to Emma.
