No, bonkers. I wasn't suggesting that she attach a nest box. Just that she have one close by that she can put the egg into if her hen lays. She has a male female pair, so the eggs might be viable. I am still concerned that she is not, in fact, egg bearing. I still think she might just be sick. Acouple post up they said they have a box in the cage.

I'm sorry for the absence, I've had some personal stuff to deal with lately... Anyway BB is right, my roomate put the nest inside the cage about 3 weeks ago, I didn't know that until I came back on Jan 3th. I've been watching my budgies as much as I could and I noticed some stuff that doesn't worry me but I'm gonna point them out anyway.
First of all, she laid an egg this morning, before that she had been inside the nest most of the day, only going out to poo and to be feed by Poki, she would just stand next to the food cup and Poki would feed her, they looked quite funny, like if Leelo was some kind of lazy wife and Poki, as we say here, "un esposo mandilón" (I don't have a translation for that) I didn't see her eat anything from the cup or drinking any water this past week, she would only eat from the cuttlebone. She allowed Poki to be inside the nest with her too and he would be feeding her all the time, in and out of the nest and when he wasn't, he would be eating from the cup, the cuttlebone and drinking water, like, all day.
