I just came back from my holiday with my family and I went to check the budgies and noticed Leelo's tail is bobbing and it's not just a little thing, it does move a lot, I'm so worried guys, I got a lot of expenses for this month because I'll start a new semester of school next week and I gotta pay rent and some other bills of the apartment, is there something I could do without taking her to the Vet? :/

You should use something to increase the humidity in the room, to make it easier for her to breathe. Attach a heated pad or blanket to one end of the cage, so that she can snuggle into the warmth if she wants. You should also start her on a rich diet of eggs, peanut butter, nuts, rices and so on, so that she will have the energy and protein to fight back. In addition, you should put pedialite or APPLE vinegar in her water, changing it out each day until such time as she is showing real improvement. A through cleaning of the cage, and a deep cleaning and vacuuming of the room they are in may also help - making it easier for her to breathe as there will be less particulate waste in the air.

Ohh thank you so much Sarah, I'll start tomorrow with the new diet, I gotta buy her some nuts and/or PB, I hope she gets better soon I also noticed that her cere is whiter and it kinda looks like she's gonna get in condition soon, because apart from being still young for that, I can't let her lay eggs while being ill :/

If her cere is very white, you have nothing to fear from her going into condition. It is just a sign she is growing up. Tan is the danger color for breeding condition, but her body will not allow that while she is sick.

Ohh I was worried about that, I thought I had seen some hints of brown on her cere but no, I took a closer look this morning and nope, her cere is very clean haha, I put some scrambled egg (cooked witout any oil) and some pieces of corn tortilla but they're ignoring the cup! Should I leave it there a little more or should I change it to seeds? They havent had breakfast and it's 11:27 am already I heard them eating from the floor of the cage earlier but I don't think they found much seeds there, I cleaned it last night...

I've got some news, I don't know if they're bad or not :/ but Leelo is in fact pregnant (I don't even know if that's the word) I don't know how that happened if her cere is white! I asked my roomate (she was taking care of th budgies while I was away) and she said she never saw them mating but well, she's at work from 9am to 6pm everyday, my mom said that maybe that egg she's carrying isn't a fertilized egg, I don't know that that means or if that can even happen

I don't know how accurate or not the source is, but it says "The hen will have her tail bobbing and a lump appears on her lower back where the wings would cross." (http://au.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20110305001316AA4uTve). So that would be a sigh of relief as it'll show that it's not the tail bobbing that's associated with breadth problems.
If this is the case, make sure you provide the right breeding materials for them (high protein diet and bedding were mentioned in other threads I think...)

Ok I was replying and I turned to see them and they were mating!! I don't know how to feel right now lol I'm a bit embarrassed because I caught them hahaha, anyway, Leelo is not sick then? I really hope the bobbing is just because she's gonna lay some eggs! I'm gonna blame it all on my roomate because she put the nest back in the cage because she thought they would like to get warm in there as the days got colder... She's such a sweetheart tho, I can't scold her for that I'll visit those threads to see what I should get them, although I think the nuts, peanut butter, eggs and seeds are ok, right? PS: thank you for the link! she looks just like they described a pregnant budgie

I'm not sure I understand. Why do you think she is 'pregnant?' first of all, birds do not get pregnant exactly. She would form an egg in her body and expel it, fertilized or unfertilized within a very short time. The first egg would be ready to be laid within nine days and subsequent eggs would be laid every two days or so. The development of the chick, what we would call pregnancy in our own babies occurs entirely inside the shell once it is laid.
In any event, what makes you believe that your bird is carrying eggs? If she has not laid, has not been mating, and is out of breeding condition with the only sign of trouble being tail bobbing, I'm fairly sure that she has mites in her lung passages.
Also, never take away a supply of seed from your birds while you are trying to give them an enriched diet. You are trying to help them gain weight right now, not the other way around. If your birds wont try the egg, then blend the seed into it - then change out to plain seed in a few hours.

I see, I'm sorry, I'm actually having a bit of trouble expressing myself in english right now haha, I don't know a lot of terms when it comes to budgies, but I'm learning x)... Anyway, I say she's carrying an egg because she has a bulge on her vent area, it doesn't look wrong though, her feathers are clean and everything, and I remember seeing my mom's budgies and Leelo's bulge looks just the same, maybe this is the first egg she will lay, and as I just saw, I don't think this is the first time they mate (Poki wasn't even singing to her, he just went straight on top of her and she let him) However her cere does not look brown (I'll try to take a picture) that's worrying me a little . And as for the egg food, they did eat it, but I changed it back to seeds at 3pm because they didn't eat much, I'm never taking the seeds away completely again

Here's a photo of her cere right now I also noticed that she now has those dark spots under her cheeks, she didn't have them before.

The spots are normal, just some of her natural pattern coming back through her mutation. Her cere is actually a little tan... not as white as I would expect. Let me know if she lays anything, keep a nest box or something like a nest box close at hand just in case.

If theres a box in the cage thats just gonna make her lay. How old is she? Hens that are not in full condition can have complications laying.

No, bonkers. I wasn't suggesting that she attach a nest box. Just that she have one close by that she can put the egg into if her hen lays. She has a male female pair, so the eggs might be viable.
I am still concerned that she is not, in fact, egg bearing. I still think she might just be sick.
