One of my many and various skills is crochet. I'm currently working on the biggest project I've ever taken on: a plus king size rainbow blanket. A gift, for my very dear friend who has been through a lot of awful health problems in the past year. I am almost done blue I made the first stitch the day I found out she was sick, and I'm still at it When I am finished, there will be millions of stitches and hundreds of hours represented in this blanket, but nothing will make me happier than to give it away for nothing but a smile

Gorgeous, Sarah! I'm sure your friend will be touched beyond words at your labor of love for her.

It's so pretty! My grandma is a crochet machine - she thought me once and I tried but I gave up. But I think I need to take up a new hobby again soon...

One thing I really regret is turning down my great grandma's offer to teach me to crochet. She made beautiful things and I really wish I could have been able to carry in her beautiful pieces of art. Sarah that blanket is gorgeous!

I taught myself all my crafting skills off of youtube lol. If you want to learn, there are great instructional videos out there.

My Wife makes them. She has been offered money for them.

I also taught myself to knit via YouTube videos, Sarah, and people do pay me for my handmade items, Santa. It's an amazing feeling to have somebody like something I made enough that they will part with their hard earned cash for it.
