So back in mid December, I wore a pair on cheap but cute Christmas earring for a few hours, and they made my ears super sore. Sadly, I know better. My ears will only tolerate piercing studs. But, I wanted to wear the cute Christmasy ones to a Christmas concert. Anyway, this episode caused me to remove my earrings for about 3 weeks, so Mistletoe didn't know I have pierced ears.
I figured I'd better get my pink October stone piercing studs back in before my holes closed up. I only had them pierced for the first time 4 years ago, when my three daughters and I went and got all of our ears pierced together. They did start closing up in that three weeks, and I had to poke 'em on thru. Anyway, I made the mistake of wearing my hair in a ponytail the day I put my earrings back in, and Mistletoe zeroed in on them right away. He would NOT leave them alone for one second, so I had to take them back out. It's been a few days, and I put them back in today and sure enough, they were closing again. Ouch! I need to leave them in. Well, my hair is down today and Mistletoe hasn't yet noticed the earrings. Once he does, I'm sure he will start looking under my hair for them.
Last night he discovered a tiny mole on my neck. Oh my, what a pincher he has! His discovery enticed him to go looking for any other slight imperfection, and he found a second mole. Yikes!! That hurts, little turkey. I understand that "helping" me out like that is a sign of love, but wow.
