Mischievous Budgies...

So our 'Keets Yellow and Jolly (Bluey1) are staying in my sewing room right now (for multiple reasons). I was giving them some flight time yesterday and left them alone for just a couple minutes while I went to get our other Keets for a budgie-play-date. :~) (which went very well, btw.)

Well afterwards, when I was putting Yellow and Jolly back in their cage, I noticed a pin on the floor by my ironing board. I stopped to pick it up and found more...



I was SO confused...

looking up at my ironing board I saw...




So I deduced that one (or both) of my lovely budgie girls, was having a grand old time dismantling my pin-cushion! She (they) pulled a total of 43 pins out, 22 of which they managed to drop/throw on the floor (over the edge of the ironing board), and they had another dozen just about to fall out!



I asked them "Who did this?" as I took this picture...



So, who's the culprit? :~)



***Just as a note, neither of them were injured at all, and I will be being even more cautious about leaving them out in the future!
