Tried something a bit different today instead of the usual seed and veggie mix. But will feed maybe 2 to 3 times a week with this
Breakfast:
1 egg with shell (washed) Any diced veggies ( they got spinach, broccoli and carrots) Slice of multi grain bread Optional herbs ( diced up some thyme)
Blend it all together then I poured it into a microwave safe bowl and stirred it up
Cooked it for 2 minutes in the microwave so the eggs were cooked good. Sprinkled some cinnamon and parsley on it and a tiny bit of their seed diet.
They took to it right away .

be careful with spinach, i heard it stops the uptake of calcium if you cook it, it should be fine

Luvsanimals yes I finally found out about spinach a few days ago. Well good thing is they don't get it often. Lisa I blend it with the veggies and egg. Then stir it very well before cooking it for a few minutes.
this is the recipe I got. Its the egg food recipe
