Hi all it been warm here the last 3 days. I am wondering will the warm weather affect the eggs growing process? And how? Its about 34 degrees celcius here. I am geustemating, I saw the temps in my cold water fish tank.

Heat (within reason) will only help the eggs to grow a hair faster. Remember that our budgie birds are desert parrots from Australia and that they breed in high summer there. In fact, the first and second laid egg grow more slowly than the rest at first, because the baby will not develop until the egg is incubated by the mothers body heat, and she will not incubate her nest until she has laid two or three eggs.
