Some very interesting things have been taking place in the budgie cage. I've noticed that Kringle, while still besotted with December, has begun making advances toward Noel. She doesn't hate him, but she's not particularly impressed either.
Meanwhile, when Kringle is busy doing something else (like flirting with Noel), Clausy and December have caught one another's eye. They very sweetly spend time together, and Clausy will bob his little head, and maybe they will chew a kabob together. This usually only happens if Kringle is on the opposite side of the cage bars as Claus & December. As soon as Kringle notices, he makes a beeline for their location, and glares at Clausy HARD thru the cage wires. Claus & December will instantly stop their visiting and hold stock still, like "We weren't doin' nuthin'," with just their tiny eyeballs shifting back and forth. I'm so curious to see what will happen with pairing up once my girls have reached maturity and they realize that it's up to them, not Kringle.
