My three birdies continue to be active and happy. They (all three together) fly joyfully around the living room in the morning and late afternoon. I have to say, it's quite a sight. They are very noisy. I usually have to go in the other room in order to be heard when I have a phone call.
Piper's cere is getting quite blue. Also, he has started screeching loudly quite frequently. I am not sure what that is about.
There is still some mating going on between Piper and Emma. However, Piper is spending more time with Snowy.
Emma will hop to my arm frequently, for which she receives a sunflower seed. After she eats her seed, she's out of there. Now and then she will sit on my shoulder for a few minutes. The other night she was eating parsley in the cage. She bought a piece out of the cage in her beak and hopped to my arm and sat there to eat it. I thought that was quite marvelous. She came over without expecting a treat, and actually brought her dinner with her.

I love your update. How old are the budgies? Are they youngsters too? I am happy to hear that Emma is accepting you more and more.

The budgies are about seven months old. Piper will fly at Emma when she is on my arm. I think he is jealous. He chases her away :-(. "What do you think you're doin' over here! I want you with me."
