sorry for no update.
She seems to be back to her usual self, though I've pretty much left her alone and let her hang out in her cage until today. I convinced her to come out this morning though, and while she was upset at first she has since calmed down and is chattering away by me here at the computer and listening to the Tarzan soundtrack xD
There is something new worrying me though...she is now having diarrhea. It isn't ALL mush, but about half of what she produces has turned green rather than black and some is very liquidy. What could this be from? Internal injury, or stress? Is it impossible to tell? She's acting fine other than that- alert, balanced once again, and singing away.

I don't have any knowledge about the diarrhea. However, I am so glad she is otherwise doing better.

Really glad Boo is her normal self again no idea re diarrhea though sorry. Is there anytging else that might indicate some illness? Dirty nostrils or puffed up more than usual?

Is her vent area staying clean, or is it caked with dried diarrhea? Has her diet changed at all?
Other than the diarrhea, I'm so glad to hear that BooBaby is returning to her normal self.

Her nostrils and vent are clear. She was puffed up at times yesterday and the day before, mostly when I came near her (nerves, I think) but today has stayed smooth and hasn't acted sick whatsoever. She's been making racket with her toys all day.
No diet change either. I haven't added any new veggies or fruits in the past few days, and she's been eating the same bag of feed for the past three weeks or more. They aren't moldy, wet, etc., and are stored carefully. I'm wondering if she's still not drinking enough though. Its hard to tell but with all of this diarrhea I really don't want her dehydrating.
The only other abnormal thing she's doing besides the diarrhea is that she's been chewing on her ladder like crazy, peeling it off in smooth strips. She doesn't typically do that but has been doing it a lot yesterday and today. Is that indicative of her missing a nutrient or anything?

do you have a cuttle bone, mineral block?

Could be. I have both a cuttlebone and a mineral block in my birds' cage. They nibble at both of them. The particularly like the mineral block when I first added it, so I thought they had been missing something.

I have a cuttle bone, no mineral block. She doesn't really do anything with it though.

I would get her a mineral block too. It provides different nutrients than the cuttlebone. If she isn't touching the cuttlebone, you could try scraping some off and putting it in her food. The cuttlebone, I believe, is for calcium.

I'll do that. Will any mineral block suffice or is there one with certain ingredients that I'm after?

I give mine the Zoo Med Vegetable Bird Banquet. It is available from Petco or Amazon. My cockatiel really likes it. As I'm thinking about it, I'm not sure the budgies go at it with the same zest. I don't know if that is the best one. There are three available that I know of. One of them is more fruit. Someone on this forum suggested a mineral block, but not a particular kind. I think it's a question of covering all the bases and giving the bird choices. Hopefully, he/she will make healthy ones. If your budgie eats fresh vegetable, a mineral block may be less important. I kind of think of it as a kind of insurance. The mineral block comes with a twist tie embedded in it. You place it up against the cage bars and fasten the twist tie. It actually stays in place much better than a cuttlebone. However, I provide both.

I've also found that my cockatiel goes at the cuttlebone far more than my budgies ever care about it. Sometimes I think he just enjoys the obnoxiously loud sound he can make scraping his beak against it.
