I'm glad she is doing better. Intermittent loose stools like this are likely caused by a little stress hold over from her ordeal or she may just not be eating enough. If one of my birds has been playing or cuddling with me for a long time and they have a looser bowl movement, I know it's time to make sure that they go eat something even if they'd rather just keep spending time outside the cage. Just make sure that her food cup stays nicely stocked and keep an eye. If she isn't actually soiling her feathers, I doubt it is illness related. As to the wood chewing, that is a very typical and totally normal behavior for any budgie, especially a female. Don't worry about this. If anything, it makes end think she isn't feeling so bad you might want to think about getting her a birdie kabob, so that she has something wooden that is designed to be chewed on.

I bought her a mineral block and put some of her cuttlebone in her food dish. She doesn't APPEAR to have touched either, but I could be wrong. However, the diarrhea has stopped and all appears to be well once more!

Keep letting us know how it is going! I've been worried about our hurt or scared feather babies!
