My three were out this morning.
I went over to the cage with a nutriberry and offered it to Emma, who was on the porch. She was feeling shy.
Meanwhile, Snowy climbed down from the top of the cage, perched on my hand, and started eating the nutriberry, while I chatted to him. Then, Piper climbed down and started angling for a way onto my hand. Snowy got upset and chased him away, followed him onto the top of the cage, and the two of them squabbled for a few minutes, including Snowy turning Piper over onto his back, holding him down, and beakbanging him. Meanwhile, there I stood, alone, with the remaining half of the Nutriberry. In the middle of the squabble, over the Nutriberry, the Nutriberry was totally forgotton.

Oh my!! You and your nutriberry must have felt quite lonely, left to yourselves. Did you end up giving the remaining half to Emma?
I've never seen budgies fight like this. Snowy pinned Piper down and beak banged him?? Wow!!
Kringle & Clausy used to squabble over handfuls of seeds by making themselves as tall as possible up on their tippy toes, and clashing beaks for a moment. That's as far as it ever went. Now that the girls have joined us, there is never any fighting. None. Zero. The only instances of someone being slightly miffed are when Clausy wants to chat with December, and Kringle gives him a disgruntled glare until Claus cuts off the conversation mid-sentence. Peace currently reigns, and I sure hope it continues.
