Things between Natey & Mistletoe have been improving! Natey is still Mistletoe's least favorite human, but they can coexist in my lap now, and Natey can even carry Mistletoe around for a few minutes, when everyone else is too busy to hold him. Here are a couple of pictures of my beautiful, but extremely silly little boy, and my peas-eating Mistletoe (with evidence all over his beak) --

Great pictures of Nate with Mistletoe. Mistletoe in full pea-face is too funny!

How sweet! They both seem to be enjoying the photo-session Really glad Missletoe is finally letting Natey love him. How's December? Still letting Natey be her special friend?

Wheat toast, huh? Interesting. Dried out lettuce? Not fresh lettuce? I need to broaden my little guys' diet. And yes, full peas face is so funny. All five of my birdies regularly look like that. So great to know that they are really, truly eating their peas. I love them all so much. Oh, I just showed my darling the above pictures of Mistletoe and him, and he asked, "Hey, how come Misso-toe isn't biteen me?!" Poor babe, that's how used to being shunned by our birdie he is. Yes! December is wonderful with Natey. She's a very special little bird.

It's wonderful that your family is having such good times with your birdies.

For some reason Lucy won't touch lettuce when it is fresh, I gave her a leaf and smaller chopped pieces. She found the dried out leaf on her play gym and chowed down..

I love that Natey is so good to the birds, and so brave! I'm sure as the years go by they will be fast friends

Thank you, Sarah. That is my hope, too. Since Natey is so afraid of dogs and I am so allergic to cats, I'm really grateful Natey loves the birds so much and is able to have animals in his life.
