So Orion got through a door when he was flying around at my parents' house and hit a mirror. He has a blood stain right between his nostrils on his cere. Is this something I should be worrying about? Or just let him calm down and let it heal on its own?

I don't know. However, if it were my bird and it is a small stain, I would just have him rest for a day or two and let it heal. I would think, as long as there are no symptoms, such as dizziness (inability to sit on a perch) or vomiting, it will probably be all right.

Alright. He seemed to calm down once I got him back into his cage and bear Shasta. He started grooming himself and Shasta preened him for a while. He was stressed because my dad and I were trying to catch him so he wouldn't hurt himself worse. But he seems to have calmed down.

Poor baby! that would definitely scare me! Glad he calmed down and had Shasta to smooth away the fear.

Poor little guy. I agree with the others. Since the scrape is so tiny, I would just let it heal. I'm glad Orion has Shasta to tell his troubles to and get some comfort.

Shasta is being so great with him. He fed him earlier and he's been grooming him most non stop.

If he is tame, I would just try to put some triple antibiotic ointment on the cut. If he's not that tame, then maybe try some of the apple cider vinegar in his water just to fight any possible infection!
This may be overkill lol but I just finished my microbiology class today and since learning about all the different microorganisms I've kind of been a germ freak. Not really a freak but while cooking I'm definitely taking more precautions with raw meats! My dog yesterday had a little boo boo and I cleaned it up and put ointment just in case!

Yeah. He was tame when I first got him and then all of the sudden something changed and he became scared if me. I'll have to go get some apple cider vinegar tomorrow. I've been watching him and the cut seems ok so far.

It could be because of Shasta. When I got Bonne and Clyde, Clyde was kinda tame when I brought him home but then living with Bonnie he is just as crazy lol
