You are doing a very nice job, Ange! Is the plan to have couples living in these during breeding, and then put them back into your lovely aviary for several months off duty? Is that how you do it?

Hey Pammy, My Aviary is currently designed into two pens. The smaller one is 1.2m x 3.6m. The larger one is 2.4m x 3.6m. I am going to set my new breeding cages up in the smaller section. I will only be putting my pairs into these Breeding cages when i want them to have a clutch of babies, then they will go back into the larger section So they will only be caged for a short amount of time

I bought an old big 20 cage breeding case. It came with 15 wire fronts and metal pull out trays. The wood was in very poor condition do I decided to remake them into double cages using all new wood, screws ect. I used plywood to make them. I just used the size of the wire fronts and trays as my guide as to how big I make them. Also the smaller section of my aviary is only just wide enough to fit the double cage in so it hopeful will work out well :-)

Adorable! I wish I could have them. Too bad we live so far apart.
