I NEVER thought that I'd have this much fun and or enjoyment from Kyba and Kylie when I first decided to get him. When Kylie came in to our lives it made things much more fun for him he's not bored any more when Im working plus he gets some exercise by running and jumping fluttering around trying to escape Kylie while he is just trying to watch TV "WOMEN always interrupting men when we are relaxing and watching tv LOLwell the young ones that is LOL" learning his antics when he's upset at me or kylie how he lets me know and how he lets me know he's not mad no more. watching them interact play together is different every time. hearing the different things he picks up from watching TV when IM working or when he's watching with me. My amazement how Kylie has learned from listening to Kyba ALL day and hearing her talk 3 words he's been saying. NEVER did I think I would get this amount of joy pleasure love and attachment from having 2 tiny little budgies. I got it so bad that towards the last hour so of work Im ready to go home open the cage having Kyba NOT letting me change out my uniform because he just wants to play and climb all over me and hearing Kylie screech and see if she'll let me bring her out or not. I love it when he comes storming out and jumps in to my hand and she's right behind him just as fast. talk about the biggest smile of excitement on my face now I got a budgie on a shoulder each one is talking my ear off and the other is trying to shred my tee shirt. next thing I know I have 2 budgies chasing each other around my back shoulders under my chin jumping from my shoulder or chest to a folded arm looking at me or saying "hey buddy" while running like he wants me to save him or some thing. the whole time Im thinking I don't get in to couples business ESPECIALLY family couples business Im not taking sides. then I laugh smile and get him on a finger and her on the other hand and see what they do next usually its her climbing back up my arm and chasing him back around me again so off he goes. This little episode goes on almost each morning when I first open their cage when she comes out too. I'm a fairly new first time owner myself if any of our stories inspires you to what to look forward to, well I HONESTLY NEVER thought I would get any of this from owning kyba and kylie but now I cant see myself with out them I'm having WAY WAY TO MUCH FUN NOW LOL HAHHHAHAHA

I love your Kyba and Kylie stories!! Kylie talks now too?!?! That's wonderful! I get the same warm fuzzy feeling when my dogs get all excited when I come home, and when Lucy runs back and forth in her cage until I let her out xD

YES SIR speaking about enjoying all the time that I enjoy spending with these 2 after I finished the first reply I went and had lunch and kyba decided he didn't want to stay he wanted to go and play. when I got done I went to look and see what they were doing and I did NOT see kylie playing near kyba. Instead she was leaning over on thte railing wanting me to pick her up. she stayed there the whole time waiting for me instead of going with kyba. she literally jumped on to my finger she was leaning forward looked so excited to me. she went straight to my shoulder chirping in my ear we walked around for a few before we went to get kyba. he met us half way LOL its feels OH SO GREAT to finally get this type of relationship action bonding with Kylie on her OWN and not needing Kyba there with me for her to want to spend even just a few minutes instead of being on her own and join us after the fact. man that feels GREAT

Haha I can't keep Lucy on my shoulders because she ATTACKS my earrings. Sure I could take them out but then I'd forget to put them back and they would close... So it's just easier to keep Lucy off my shoulder

He probably considers your earring studs as moles or ticks or something that is his DUTY to rid you of! HA!

Lisa, if your fingernails are any indication, I imagine your earrings are considerably more elaborate than Kenny's are.

I only ever wear piercing studs myself. I didn't get my ears pierced until I was 39 years old, when my three daughters and I went together and got it done. My skin is pretty sensitive, and I only seem to tolerate the piercing studs without getting infected, sore ears. I have two pairs. Aquamarine because it's my March birthstone, and the October ones since my favorite color is pink. It's okay, though. I'm a simple girl when it comes to jewelry and that kind of thing. I only wear different earrings for brief periods of a few hours when I want to wear something cute and fun for Halloween or Christmas, etc. I wonder if Mistletoe will be interested?
