Thanks a lot for all your kind words and support. I really do appreciate them a lot.
I'm sorry I'm only posting bad news lately on the forum, I'm very busy at the moment. The other 5 birds are all very healthy, active and enjoying their room every day though. Will try to post an update on them when I have time.
In the meantime Cu is getting extremely weak. Yesterday I realised he lost almost complete grip with his feet so is finding very difficult to walk, perch or balance. When I hold him to scratch his head a bit and just cuddle him, I now have to hold him in my palm as he totally cannot perch on my finger. I then have to gently place him inside his cage on his perch because yesterday he would have fallen if I didn't have my hands right below him to catch him - he has a perch outside his door to help him when getting in, but he did not manage to balance on it and fell off, he landed on his back on my hands which were thankfully right below him. I then had to help him up because he's too weak to get up on his own either. Most of the time it seems as if he's using his wings as walking sticks - he's keeping them open touching the perch to be able to balance better.

That poor birdie. It must be so sad going through this. It does seem he wants to keep living, even though it must be hard for him. I admire how you are caring for him.

Sorry to hear that Cu is so weak. I think your situation is especially difficult because he has such a strong will to live and yet his little body is failing . It's okay to let us know what is happening, even when it is not upbeat news. Cu is part of your family and you're trying your best to care for him. Cherry

This makes me hurt to read, but yes, I agree. It's ok to keep telling us what's happening, good or bad.

Yes his will to live amazes me everyday. Honestly every morning I expect to go downstairs and find him dead, but he keeps fighting everyday and keeps trying his best to move around even though it's difficult. Thanks a lot all of you!

I agree with the others here. It is amazing to listen how much that little bird desires to get all it can out of life, and keeps moving on. Such sweet lessons for us when things seem so hard sometimes. Thank you so much for sharing with us, we learn from the good as well as the hard.

I'm sorry for your loss - when you're able, please remember the wonderful times you had together, and what a wonderful example of endurance and hope the little one gave you.
